Approached by its own 400m drive, and set in beautiful private grounds of 50 acres, it is about 200m above sea level with absolutely stunning views of the sea and the Pyrenees. Enjoy the wonderful nature trails and walks and discover the wild flowers, butterflies, birds and other wildlife including Orioles, Hoopoes and Eagles, or simply relax by the swimming pool. The climate, with an average of 325 days of sunshine per year, is the warmest in France. Although only 20kms to the sea, the property is in secluded countryside with no traffic noise and being completely unoverlooked. Ceret with its supermarkets and various other amenities is just 5mins drive, and each of the local villages has its own festivals and markets. Churches, Romanesque Abbeys and Castles abound in the area, and there are many interesting museums and galleries in Perpignan and Ceret. There are many beautiful sandy beaches locally. Winter sports are available within a 2 hour drive, and canoeing, potholing, hang-gliding, horse riding, trekking, water skiing, sailing, fishing and golf are all available within easy reach. 

The Farmhouse: On the ground floor there is a fully fitted kitchen, a cloakroom, a large living room with dining area and internal garden and a double bedroom. Stairs lead to the first floor which has a single bedroom/dressing room, a double bedroom with an extra single bed, a further double bedroom, a very large double bedroom with French windows on to a spacious terrace/balcony and another large double bedroom complete with sitting area and light cooking facilities. There are two French windows leading onto a large breakfast terrace with views overlooking Mount Canigou and a staircase down to the garden. There are 2 bathrooms, 1 with Jacuzzi bath, two showers and 2 separate WCs.
