Magnificent panoramic views of Mount Canigou 
( 9000 ft ) and the Pyrenees, the Roussillon plains and the Mediterranean ( 15km ). Set in 12 acres of private garden and woodland, surrounded by cherry orchards and vineyards, it has a  new swimming pool with jacuzzi and shower, facing south and making the most of its impressive setting.

The house consists of  entrance hall, extensive sitting room and dining room with library, balcony facing south, and a full length conservatory facing south. Fully furnished to a high standard with a T.V, antiques, paintings and objets d'art. The newly fitted kitchen with granite worktops and all accessories opens on to a large terrace, garden, swimming pool and BBQ area. There is a laundry room with extra fridge, freezer, washing machine and sinks. 

Upstairs there are 4 large double bedrooms, 2 with large Catalonian carved double beds. There is a bathroom on each floor and 2 separate W.Cs.

Ceret is the centre for modern art ( Picasso etc ) and has a popular Saturday market, with many festivals throughout the year. A wide variety of restaurants serving Catalan, French and Spanish food and wine. Nearby ( 15km ) are the Mediterranean beaches of St. Cyprien (golf ), Argeles-sur- Mer ( windsurfing ), Collioure ( artists ), Spain ( 10km ) with relatively untouched northern Costa Brava, Figueres ( Dali museum ) Girona and Barcelona. The ancient cities of Carcassonne, Perpignan, Narbonne, Beziers and Montpellier are within easy driving distance. Andorra possible for a day.  Spectacular mountain castles and scenery. Inexpensive shopping.( some duty free ).
Cultural/historical tours, painting and Cordon Bleu cookery tuition by experts available.
